Hellooooooooooooooo there, I know this is stupidly late but happy new year to everyone!
23.09.04
Ohhhhhhhhh deary me, 2 months since the last entry!
A lot's been going on lately, the line up has changed yet again, Shaun is now full time bassist and Sammy is the backing vocalist and is also helping me and Ric to develop our dreadful singing voices, so a big thumbs up to Sammy!
We now practice every week in the professional rehearsal studio (Ric's garage), I've bought myself a lovely new PC which I'm sat at right now so the recording of the album should be speeded up because I can do that here now.
Me and Ric are back at college now which is a total bore as usual, the 1st years are stealing our wall but we will fight back, they may take our freedom, but they will not take our stone wall from us! At least they haven't found our secret little computer room yet :p
Almost a month ago now me and Ric went to Leeds Festival which was certainly the place to be this bank holiday weekend, I went on the friday and saturday and Ric went on just the friday.
Here's my brief reviews...
Friday 27th August
Minus - we only caught a few minutes of them but from what we saw they seemed ok for an opening band, bare chested head bangers with long hair, that kinda thing.
The Rasmus - They came on unexpectedly early when we wandered over to the main stage so we watched them for some reason. Neither of us like them but I must admit they were ok live, they got bottled a bit but it settled down.
Dropkick Murphys - Wow! Bagpipes! Very entertaining, upbeat tunes, the singer had a very strange but great voice, well worth watching.
The Streets - I hate the streets, but I will give them some credit because they had a live band, not just some beat box.
Lostprophets - The first big band of the day and they were great. They really can play those instruments, they play their songs excellent live, only let down was the vocals were a little quiet but still fantastic.
Placebo - They basically just played all their greatest hits and although I'm not particularly big on them, I was very impressed by their performance, even if the lead singer looks more like a woman than the man he apparently is.....
50 cent - No comments needed, total rubbish from start to finish, no talent, no instruments, no real music, just stupid natter all the way through, what a waste of a headliners slot that could have been filled by someone worth our money and time.
Green Day - Absolute sheer brilliance to sum it up in a few words, this was a set that never got boring, constant interaction with the crowd, all the classic hits, plus the new "American Idiot", classic covers, they could have played all night and still kept the crowd going, perfect headliners and perfect performers, great end to a great day (Ric lost a shoe heheeeee).
Saturday 28th August
Goldie Lookin' Chain - I'd already seen this lot at Music Live so didn't bother watching them, I saw them from a distance, they'd gathered a mega crowd considering they were first on! Couldn't really hear them from where I was so I can't comment on the music.
The Donnas - I only caught the first two songs but they sounded great.
The Wildhearts - I didn't actually see them, but I could hear them from the signing tent queue. The vocals were a little dodgy but otherwise they sounded ok.
The Distillers - They all looked really tired but still gave a decent performance, tight playing, got the crowd going, good stuff.
The Hives - Earlier on in the day I met the hives and got their autographs so there was no way I was going to miss them. They are so entertaining and funny on-stage! I can't think of any other band that could request for clapping and cheers and actually get away with it in the most stylish possible way! They put on a great show, always looked like they were having fun in their new dinner suits!
Ash - One of my favourite bands, they have so many great songs and they played everything I wanted to hear so I was happy, great performance with a well structured set.
The Offspring - Clearly an excellent live band, they sounded brilliant, lots of energy, great songs, entertaining banter between songs that included giving everyone popcorn!
The Darkness - Even though their only album is only 40 minutes, they still managed to fill a 90 minute set. All the songs, a radiohead cover and new songs, one of which wasn't even finished, a great firework display at the end, not as good as Green Day but still great headliners.

Hellooooooooooooooo everyone!
As you have probably noticed, I've changed the colour scheme on the site, I thought I'd brighten it up a bit! :p Let me know what you think of it!
I'll probably be restructuring the photos section because it seems to have got out of hand, people are complaining about how long it takes for the page to load up because of the number of photos on there. That should be sorted in the next few weeks or so.
I'd just like to ask, what is the highest number of days you have worked consecutively? And I mean full or nearly full days. I just wanna see if anyone can beat me, I've done 18 up to now and I've still got a few more! I can't wait to have a lie in and be able to do whatever I want during the day!
Ric L is currently at a Jeep festival or something in London apparently.
As for me I'll be working at the kennels all summer, get some money together :p although I'm useless at saving money ever since I signed up on eBay, I've been spending every last penny on it! I've been forced to save some money now though coz my parents have finally agreed to let me buy some drums! Yeyyy!
One more thing, it has been suggested to me that we should have a ring tones page, people can request songs, and I'll work out the code for your phones on put them on that page? Would that be worth doing? Let me know please!
Cya later, AJ
P.S. I know I've been saying this for donkeys, but we ARE gunna record our album very soon!
28.06.04
Helloooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
(This only applies to people who go to Acklam Grange)
Ric forgot to mention that we're playing in Oakland Hall again on the 7th July, dinnertime.
We've got all new stuff now, PA, proper mics etc so it will be interesting to see how it all sounds. We'll hopefully have real drums but we'll see what happens.
We havn't played for ages so naturally were a little nervous about it.
If it's anyone's birthday on that day, let us know! We specialise in singing happy birthday :p
I'm gettin some food now coz I'm starvin! (And its only half 9 but I don't care! :p :p)
01.06.04
Heyyyyyyyyyyyy
Its been a longggggggggggg time since anything was put on here so i thought I'd update everyone on
what's been going on!
Yesterday was music live 2004 and it was amazing yet again!!!
Me, johnson, Lewis and pip went down about 12 and jus sat on the field chillin, we ran out of booze b4 2oclock!! We met up with loads of people we hadn't seen in ages,
including Ric M who hugged us all an tried to give us all a kiss and who also spilt my pint down
Lewis's back! Sam and Nicola who were being stalked by men clad in Burberry, Joanne
who was utterly wasted and fell off Johnson's back and who managed to scare Mini
D away by askin for a hug! ("how old is he? about 6?!") Johnson went and picked mini d up about 4, but then had to go back as
his brother had a hefty nose bleed! Graham joined us and me graham an Lewis went to see the glitterati in the town hall, pure class! (the lowest slung les pauls in the world, guitarist who managed to play whilst
smoking a lit fag and just pure rock an roll!) whilst in the town hall, we saw a kid get
absolutely flattened which was unbelievably funny!! :P lol then we all went and mooched back and saw electric 6, the highlight of the day. They played all the classics - danger high voltage, gay bar, dance commander (me an
johnson seemed to be the only people who knew that song tho!) and last but not least a stonkin cover of radio ga ga. ironically, when electric 6 took to the stage a bush fire got goin, which was huge an lasted for a bit, their album is called fire ;)
Also a special mention is needed for the guy who walked around naked, sick i no but worth a mention, the unbelievable drunk dancer stood next to us who could give the amazing drunk dancer from last year a run for his money! the guy who gave me a hug "because i looked like i needed a hug?!", the people who adopted me whilst
waiting for Lewis to cum outta the portaloo, nailer drunk again, you never disappoint
us nailer!! ben grandy! who was talkin to pip like he was utterly smashed, but probably
wasn't and the funny drunk on the way home :P hehehe, cheers guys you make it all worth while!
On other news, were planning on doing our own version of the pain for pleasure video, full costume an all :P
Well i think thats about everything?! If ive missed anything then im sure johnson will add it!
cya all later byeeeeeeeeeee

Blink 182 were also great on Saturday! we only had seatin tickets tho so there wasn't
much room to dance :( but i made the most of the space i had :P lol. one of the support bands,
motion city soundtrack, were also amazin - the keyboard player was doin handstands on his
keyboard! so look out 4 johnson doin one next show! (ill talk more bout upcoming
shows later)
Ohh but do not get any Carlsberg from the men arena ok! they put vinegar in em im sure! i only managed half a pint then i had to put it down coz it was really rank! was making me feel ill! ohh an a big shout out to the people offerin free hugs out, very nice ;)

eeeeeeeeeeeeeee it's been a while!
I hope everyone had fun in the snow, we certainly did, except someone stole our snowman from college! (or it walked away) It was huge! So much time and effort and it was gone the next day :( But anyway we got most of the day off college on Wednesday so we went sledging :p It was a bit embarrassing for Ric tho coz he had to carry his sledge round the school when I went to get a house key, the digs were coming thick and fast from the teachers!
Anyways we got a bit of news! What's that I hear you say? NEWS!!! yes news........drum roll please Ric.....Ric......??? Oh well we don't see much of Ric M anymore, just imagine a drum roll.......we're organising another show at school but this time it should be on an evening so anyone can come along!!!! We haven't got a date sorted yet but I'll put it on here as soon as we know so watch this space!
Me and Ric L are off to Manchester next Saturday to see Blink 182! Wooohoooooo! :)
I'm gunna try'n make an effort to put more entries on here but you never know......I'm lazy........
18.12.03
welllll wow! wasn't last night great!!
in case you didn't know, me (Ric L) an Johnson played the Christmas concert at Acklam
Grange an totally rocked it! we had people coming up to us after congratulating us and everything! We had the loudest cheer of the whole night, even beatin
competition from the staff choir and an unspecific violin solo!! Everything was great apart from the teachers for making us turn our amps down and taking our hats off us! (i had a santa hat an johnson his dads
Guinness top hat!)
We've finished college now so yey! an tonight me an Ric M are off to see the buzzcocks (no not ric astly!) at
Newcastle so that should be great! we'll get drunk im sure! :)
anyway merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all and i hope to see you soon!

Helloo
We realised that we haven't wrote owt in ages on here so we thought we'd write sumthing...
Our charity show at Acklam Grange last week went ok considerin i (AJ) felt sick and the hour we had before it to practice went VERY quickly! And Ric L kept forgettin to do his "vocal" parts in the songs. But still, we did requests at the end which included such favourites as Gay Bar, YMCA, Postman Pat etc... We sang happy birthday to someone, and raised £13 for charity, which we're very proud of! But finally a BIG BIG thank you to Mini Deryck for all his help, he did a great job so if anyone out there ever needs a sound technician, look no further!
We watched the rugby in Comet on Saturday on about 400 screens which was mildly amusing, but we found a nice big widescreen and there was a display in front of it to sit on so we couldn't complain, we were at Teesside Park to go bowlin but i must say, the most fun to be had certainly exists in Toys R Us! Just look at the new photos in random pics and you'll see wot i mean!
We went to see the Christmas parade in town on Sunday just to see some people on stilts, a few reindeers and people in snowman suits, and oh yeah, Santa's sleigh that stalled as they went round the corner (ha haa). And then there's the toothless wonder guy who insists we leave a gap at the side for sum reason...
It's Ric L's turn to be ill this week, he couldn't stand up without hurlin so he's been off college. He's ok now tho so DONT PANIC! No cause for alarm it's just a bug!
One more thing, don't go to an unspecified fast food restaurant at Teesside Park! I've heard stories from reliable sources! Just trust me, go elsewhere!
07.11.03
hey
First of all id like to wish Johnson a big happy 17th birthday! today an happy birthday to
Ric M for Sunday!, ull soon be both driving ehh! lol
well this week has been a bit of a bad week for sum people and different people are hurting. But as the
REM song goes, "we gotta take comfort in our friends, and know your not alone, you just gotta hold on."
friends are really important which is why im very lucky in having such a gud group of friends, and im sorry if ive ever hurt anyone in the past (that goes towards u as well
Lewis! lol).
im proper frazzled at the mo an i gotta work a nasty 5 hour shift so ill probably fall asleep in the freezers or summet lol.
i gotta get goin, songs dont learn themselves u no!
ill see everyone soon and i hope everyone ok :)

Howdy all,
Well surprise surprise, me and Ric L were back in school again today and we found possibly the best name in the school, but I can't remember how to spell it but I'll have a go............................ Christos Yianakis! (aka the Greek Guy) That's my best attempt and I'm sure you'll agree!
28.10.03
Greetings
Ok so I've picked up 2 slaps already so I'd better start mentioning more people.
So here goes......Claire Lake for being there first, my sister or she'll slap me again, the tweeny for being there, everyone, there hows that???
Ric L would like to recommend you go into BHS and look at the Christmas toys, they are very amusing!
My Leeds photos are FINALLY on now so have a look and be jealous!!!! Sorry if there's too much Metallica and Sum 41, I got a bit excited! :p :) :)
Me and Ric L should be getting some recording done now so we'll get on with it.

24.10.03
Hello!
I'd just like to say thanks to everyone who came to see us play on Wednesday, we really appreciate it.
However, the following people deserve a mention for their support....Jo for dancing, Mini Deryck for being Mini Deryck (and helping in one song), Fluffy for the only horns I saw all day, the Greek guy for claiming to know me (although I don't know him, well I do now), Charlotte Demoily for her msn name and general promotion, and anyone who sang along to anything. I'm sure there's loads of people I've forgotten so if you think you deserved a mention then give me a slap next time you see me.
We're doing another show on Monday 17th November and it's for the year 7 charity this time so make sure you're there! I don't know which charity it is but I'm sure it's worth it! I can't say any exact details yet but I'll be sending some posters in so keep an eye out for them or check back here for more info.
If anyone has any requests just let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Yes alright! I know it's been a long time, I've been busy (in a lazy kinda way but still....)
It seems like Leeds was ages ago but I'm still gunna mention it anyway coz I went on the Friday which was also bloody amazin! Plenty of bands to go around, Metallica were absolutely incredible, System of a down weren't. Sum 41 can have a special mention from me (if you've read my profile you'll know why) They were quality. Good Charlotte were reasonable enough, it was funny when they got repeatedly bottled by everyone, but they were ok really. I saw The All American Rejects briefly who sounded ok from where I was and I only caught the last 20 seconds of Sugarcult so I can't comment on them but I'm sure they were good too! Over in the radio 1 stage The Music were pretty good, I didn't see any others in there except for a quick peak at the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, too busy at the main stage, lookin at stalls and looking for some reasonably priced food which was pretty thin on the ground. All in all a great day, deffo goin next year! It's great being crushed by about 10000 people whilst tryin to eat a hugely over priced hot dog! Oh yeah one more thing, for those of you that heard about the barrier "moving forward slightly", it was more than that trust me!
Anyways, we had a practice yesterday which was probably our best one yet, we got loads done and I got to test my new amp out and it's nice and loud so I'm happy! Me and Ric L finally got some recording done yesterday. It'll take a good few weeks but the album is on it's way.
All the Leeds photos will be on soon............
Bye 4 now
Andrew John Albert Johnson (it's ok you can laugh)
11.09.03
Hey god
its been a while since anything has happened on this site. Johnson!!!
lol well anyway we just started college which is ok suppose, better than school yet
but its too early to say anything yet. There are some really small kids an i mean small!! they look about 8! but
apparently they are older than me Grrrrrrrrrrrr!! lol
Leeds festival was bloody amazing!!! AFI, Alkaline Trio, King Prawn, The
Thrills, The Mars Volta, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club all bloody amazing. we
couldn't get close to alkaline trio it was about 40 people deep outside the tent!
Ric M fell over sum lass sittin on the floor which was very funny hehe. Gotta give a big shout out to the people who kept our camp fire goin! was put out by
security but was resurrected all 3 times, we had a many a chant of "sacrifice,
sacrifice, sacrifice your f*&%^n socks, sacrifice your f*&%^n socks" to which many people put there socks on the fire, gotta say go man! to the guy who ripped his boxers off to go on , now thats dedication!!
Well we got some new songs written (Ric M's playin acoustic on one) and Johnson has got a guitar an a superb new amp which is
supposed to be heavier than a house an louder than one!! wooohooo should be gud!! :p
we are supposed to be practisin at the weekend so ill update you all more after that
so long byebyebye

Well i gotta go so ill let Johnson finish off byebye
28.07.03
Well hello there!
Me and Ric L went to TFM live yesterday, which was 4 hours long (yawn), and it took 2 hours to start once we were in there. Not only that but the first 2 and a half hours were just filled with "Who the hell?!" bands and idiots who love themselves. Also the presenters had to remind us of who was coming on later, "we have.......Busted" (insert forced cheer here, not from us obviously), between every bloody act! It was soooooooo annoying, we know who's coming and who isn't. More of the who isn't coz Gareth Gates and the Sugababes pulled out at the last second (wohoooo). I've got a lot of moaning to get through here so just stick with me. 99% of the "acts" were clearly miming, Kym Marsh being the most obvious when the song started in the middle of her talking, why would her backing "artists" just start while she's talking?! Also some woman came on with a guitar and it started before she did, that was pretty funny. The only ones that I can remember that were completely live were Mark Owen and David Sneddon. Busted were singing live but the guitars and drums were mimed so that doesn't count. Why call it TFM live when most of them mime? TFM mimed would be more appropriate.
So, apart from all that, there were quite a few funny moments, we saw a kid who had the biggest teeth I've ever seen, an on going joke about helicopters, someone tripped over my foot when we were sat on the hill, the fake "live cam" that was following Busted from the airport, the list is endless and I'm sure Ric will remind me of everything else. Oh yeah, the McDonalds in Stockton has a vegetable patch upstairs.
One more thing to round off if the sound guy is reading this, TURN THE BASS DOWN!!!! It was drowning everything out and it was just an annoying whine!
AJAJ
28.07.03
(I've put this new one down here coz you need to read mine first)
johnson you forgot:
the two little kids that stamped and trampled all over my chips :'( sob sob
the very clever busted bassist who managed to change chords with his left hand and still make the tone sound
exactly the same as it was before. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. i believe that is called MIMING! stupid
(bleep)
hey i wonder if they found their helicopter?
and that kid..............................................................

ARGGGGGGGGGG im peeling!!!!!
Well im back off my hols to Majorca and it was great! woohoo. lol. had 2 hours sleep in 24 hours 2day/last night so im pretty
knackered at the mo so if there are any mistakes here its not my fault ok! i hope
Ric an johnson have been practisin gud an have made some more progress, and i hope they have got our
Leeds tickets! the weather was great over there - over 30 degrees each day with a max of 48! hehe, its bloody freezin here! had lots of great times, went horse
ridin (never s&!t myself so much in one pair of boxers in my entire life then my dad fell off), a funny incident involvin the bin men, a car and a stop sign, an absolute amazin car crash (my dad told me off for swearin when the van in front of us
flipped over), green giant, a very lethal electric scooter, nearly runnin out of
petrol in the middle of nowhere..............the list is endless.
But darn it, the Spanish have one hell of a good gene pool, about 98% of every single
Spanish lass/woman was bloomin beautiful and i mean beautiful, its not fair! i wanna live there lol.
ohh i have an idea for us next year. i have yet to talk it over with the 'lads' but here goes anyway..............we should travel over there
(Majorca) and play the hotels. each hotel had an act on every night so we should go an gig over there. it works in oh so many ways as well. we get a holiday, we get sum gigs,
it'll be nice an warm all the time, cheap beer! only 1.20 euro a pint (90p!), lots of nice lasses, legal weed! (i think, well they sold plenty of bongs an stuff in the shops including spar! lol). like i said it works in ohh so many ways.......
So what has been happening here? anything interesting?
Johnson go online! i need to talk to u about tomorrow, i need to no what's happening, i need to no if im actually goin or not lol, i did give
Ric my money (i think) so i don't no.
well i might go off for a dinner time siesta now byebye
Ric L :)
P.s. somehow i have managed to get bout £9 a week from the collage startin from
when i start, i don't no how i managed it coz i was told before that i couldn't get it so hmmmmmmmmmmm.
19.07.03
eeeeeeeeeeeeeee, sorry it's been a while.
Not much goin on really. Ric L is away, lucky him. Me and Ric M had a practice the other day and we created an insane version of the channel 4 news theme, more of a dance remix really.
Oh yeah, something did happen lately, me, Ric M, Carl, Bennett and Amanda went to see Hulk yesterday which I won't comment on, but don't pay too much to see it!
There's a couple of new photos on the school bit and the random pics bit. Cheers to Graham for the school ones, he sent them a while back but I didn't realise. Also a big thanks to Ben, Sam, Lindsay, and anyone else who I can't remember that has sent us photos.
We should hopefully start recording some songs properly soon so when we do I'll get them on the site.
One more thing, I got my ticket for Leeds festival this mornin so I'm very happy! :) :) :)

Hey
well to say im as sick as a chip is a very big understatement! Firstly, went to get my hair cut this morning, big mistake!
I reckon the barber used bloody black and decker hedge trimmers, my thick and lushes back and sides have gone to be replaced with the ultimate townie cut. To think
I only asked for a bit off as well :'( I mean my ears were cold on the way home. David miller then lost the prologue by 0.23 seconds an his chain came off so he should have won :'(
I got attacked by pigeons outside virgin and just managed to avoid a collision with a cleaning
lady with one of those huge sweeping brushes. My Pc also decided to f$%k up on me then
I managed to get it workin but now I cannot get any sound from the speakers when you try to play a cd. grrrrrrrr!. Not a good day today although
I did have a laugh at the security guards in town who were chasin a load of townies on bikes around the
Cleveland and hill street centre. Hehehehehehe.
Ric M and johnson had a practice on Thursday without me because I had already made other arrangements to go round
Lewis's but were practicing tomorrow so that should be good! :)
well my tee's ready so I gotta go now byebye
Ric L :)
27.06.03
Yoho!!
And how is everyone
Well we had our leavers ball last night which was a bit of a let down really, wasn't what
I was expecting. The place was really small and the food was only out about 10min how did you survive
Johnson!! It was still good anyway and we all had fun. It was good seeing everyone all dressed up in tuxedo's and ball gowns,
I do have to say that we were the only people there to have a flower on the tux which
I thought was good :) Im sure there will be some pictures on the site soon of the 'do' so you can see for yourselves.
The limo ride on the way was also very fun especially when Johnson spilt the coke everywhere.
It was a night of s&!tty music as well, s&!tty music in the limo which kept on jumping and
s&!tty music in the place - how can anyone like dance music?!
Well anyway tomorrow night Ric and Johnson are sleeping at mine and we are going to watch
Glastonbury on the telly with a few pints no doubt, why does it have to be on at like midnight?? Grrrrrrrr
That's it from me till next time

Hey ho!
We finally got a song properly completed yesterday! Wooooooooo! It's called "Pressure". We should be recording it soon so I'll try to get it on the site. I've already put an instrumental version on Kazaa but it's only a rough attempt with "canned" drumming. The real recording will have real drums and vocals as well!
There's loads and loads of new photos so that should give everyone something to look at, the one of the plastic figure apparently looks like Ric L, what do you think?!
Me and Ric L spent most of the day at Ric M's to do the song, we had vegetable soup for dinner. Well, I had the vegetable and Ric L had the soup, it was kinda an uneven balance.

Alright alright!
I can't be expected to remember everything that happened, although it was quite funny coz he somehow managed to get it all over his England shirt. I also think he did it deliberately for attention because we left him watching TV with the girls.
Don't forget to send your list of bands. Email them here

Here's another message from Ric L....................
Hey ho!
Johnson u forgot to mention Lewis's nosebleed!! You see Lewis had this unexpected nosebleed while he was sitting waiting for us to finish eating so we don't no if it was a legitimate nosebleed or whether he did it fir attention. Lewis if you're reading this were on to u!!
Good look everyone for the graft of the physics exam tomorrow :(
bye bye
Ric L :)

Hello, hallo, hullo there are many ways people say that so I'll say all the ones I can think of so I don't offend anyone.
Me, Ric L and Lewis went to see Dumb and Dumberer today which wasn't as good as the other one but we never really expected it to be, it was still half decent.
We would have had that song finished today but Ric M unexpectedly went to Whitby so we couldn't get the drumming sorted. The lyrics are written so it's nearly done.
Once again I had a fantastic tea at Ric L's house. His mam is so kind!!!! She gave me three cakes!!! I must have had about 87 Kg of their food, I feel kinda guilty.
After that we went to play rounders with Lewis, Ric's sister, some other girl I don't know and Ric's little cousin who claimed to be thirteen but I was having none of it. No way is he thirteen! I haven't played rounders for ages so it was quite an experience.
I would have played for longer if my dad didn't show up so soon. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!! So now I'm at home, bored, nowt to do. I'm not revising I'm sick of it!

Hey Ben and everyone else,
(I thought I'd give Ben a mention because he comes on here every day! Everyone else do the same!)
Me (J) and Ric L went to the England match last night and it was great! Well, the second half was anyway, the first half was pathetic, and the referee was kinda blind, as well as the gay linesmen. There were THREE players there god dammit!!! Offside??!!!!!!! What the &%$£!!!!! Anyways it was mostly very enjoyable, the atmosphere was great, the weather was good, and Ric's prediction of 2-1 was right.
We should have a properly completed song soon, I sorted the drumming out yesterday and now all it needs is words to fill the tune up. It's called "Pressure". It's all about the pressures of life.
If anyone is going or wants to go to Leeds festival on the Friday please let me know!!!
09.06.03
Well it's been a week so I thought I'd better put something on just in case you all thought we'd died of SARS or summit daft like that.
I stayed at Ric L's on Saturday night, we got a lot done including a brand new song that's sounding great so far. We also had some wacky ideas for a punk cover of a certain pop song (Baby One More Time). Don't worry, we'll have it sounding great.
There's 21 new photos!!! 21!!!!!!!!!!! They're all from Ric L's house. (And garage)
I also had the wonderful privilege of having tea at Ric's house......two nights in a row!!! Aren't I lucky, his mam does fantastic meals! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Everyone make friends with Ric right now and go'n try his mam's truly glorious cuisine! You won't regret it!
Exams are almost over! Wooooooooooo! Just three more to go, ok most people have two more but who's counting eh???
Chemistry today was both easy and hard, I don't know how that works out but it just was ok!
English was just a pain, the questions were easy enough but I really couldn't be bothered and I don't think anyone else could either, it was just too hot and I'm soooooo tired!
Apparently I have to let my sister on the PC in a minute. Hmmmmmmmmm. Nah! I don't think so!
Keep the messages coming in please, I always do my best to get them on the page as quickly as I possibly can!
And one more thing, keep coming back to the site coz I'm doing something rather interesting with the homepage, that is assuming it will work!
Bye 4 now :)

I know this probably won't interest anyone, but I'll talk about it anyway. We had geography and biology today and they were both easy but we think it should have been longer, there were far too many questions and not enough time. Biology was OK though, just the right amount of time.
Apparently people have been sending messages for the guest book but I haven't got them. If yours doesn't appear then please can you send it again here or from the guest book page because it can't have sent properly or summit.
I apologize for the lack of news on the site, there just isn't anything to say!
31.05.02
Hey all,
It's boiling today and I can't be chewed doing anything at all, but I should make the most of it because it's gunna rain tomorrow apparently. Booooooooooooooooooooooo
Nice to see the new guest book filling up reasonably quickly, I couldn't get it to work by doing it properly with a form on the page, so for now you'll just have to email your messages.
I am getting my school photos developed soon so I'll get them on the site. I know there aren't many at the moment, the only ones that are there were "donated" by Lindsay and Sam, so a big thanks to them for that.
And one more thing just for Jo, you are hippy than your mam. (Just to keep her happy).
29.05.02
Just a quick one.
Apparently Claire Lake and her mate have joined the band, much to the strong disapproval of the three existing members........
27.05.02
Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I've finally got the site sorted out. This is a message to everyone: DON'T EVER USE NETFIRMS!!! It never worked properly and I couldn't update the site but now I've signed up on Tripod and so far everything's running smoothly so hopefully I won't have to change the address again.
We haven't had any practices lately, something to do with exams probably, grrrrrrr!! We will probably get together in the next few days though.
We went to Middlesbrough Music Live yesterday which was fantastic! The best band were hidden away in the crypt at 2 o'clock, they should have been on the main stage, they were great. They were called BUZZKILL so get down to HMV and buy their CD right now! It's called "Double Down". Steve Harley was good once he played "Make me smile". He was on for ages until he played that, it was kinda boring until then, the only things that kept us entertained were Jo's mam who incidentally is incredibly hip, and a little kid doing a magic show. There was quite an entertaining scrap when The Bandits were on, that lightened things up a bit. And last but not least, Reef, the headline band were amazing. The only disappointment was that the giant slide had disappeared as soon as went to go on it! I'd also like to mention the "dancing guy" who was just doing his own thing and at times was a lot more entertaining than what was happening on stage!
Just one more thing, there must be something incredibly attractive about Ric L's hair because so many people felt compelled to stroke it! That kid doing magic tricks, some random person who walked past... Oh and just one other thing, Jo's mam nearly had a fight with some bloke who told her to errrrr "go away" to put it lightly.
26.04.03
Hi everyone! Or should I say hi anyone!
I've just been TOLD by Claire Lake, to do this so here goes.
This actually happened a while ago, on her birthday I think, I can't remember the exact date (sorry Claire). Me and Ric L played happy birthday to her and her mate in Ric's garage. It went quite well considering I had to play from a book called, "My first nursery rhyme song book".
Claire's mate recently sent quite an encouraging email to us. Here it is in full!
Hiya just thought that wed say a big HI!! n that we luvvvvvvvvv ur music!! We think johnson is totally sexy!! :P wen will u b in concert nxt we want front row seats!
Luv ur BIGEST fans xxxx
We have fans!!! Yeahhhhh!!!! Woooooooooooo!!!!!
18.04.03
Hello to anyone who might just be actually reading this. I'm typing this on the 19th but I had to let you know when the "events" took place. Chances are if your name is Ben Reynolds, you won't have read any further than this. Just incase you did, cheers for blocking me AGAIN Ben, I really appreciate it.
Anyway that's not what this journal is for. It's just here to let all you nice punters know what's going on in the small and profound world of our little band.
So, me (Johnson) and Ric L had a little, shall I say composing session? Well, whatever you wanna call it. (Short of a drummer, Ric M, who is currently in Whitby, or so he says). We finished off the structure for our first song, layout, chords etc. We also wrote some lyrics for the chorus (haven't done the verses yet, I'll probably end up doing that). The song is going to be about how summer seems to have suddenly arrived early, with all this hot weather, no rain, it was snowing this time two years ago!
I must say, Ric L's mum does great fish fingers, mash and spaghetti! A truly lovely surprise.
I also appreciate his dad's bike holder as it is also very useful as a microphone stand. I really should get a proper one because when we're in Ric M's garage it hangs by string from the ceiling and a couple of weeks ago it hit me in the teeth, shortly followed by my nose. Owww! Alright that was uncalled for.
Well, there's my first entry. Pretty satisfying really. I wish I could write that much so quickly in the English exams!
J.
